FAQs

I just want one session. Do you offer one-off consultations? Yes, a one-off session is absolutely fine. I’d much rather someone leave with helpful, evidence-based guidance and advice than none at all. However, if your goals involve longer-term change—such as weight loss or shifting emotional-eating patterns—I usually recommend ongoing sessions until you reach your goal or feel confident continuing with the plan we’ve set on your own. In my experience, clients find the weekly accountability very helpful for staying on track (and research shows it can increase goal-achievement success by around 400%). That said, I’m always happy to work around your preferences, schedule, and budget. If you feel we work well together and you’re comfortable continuing, we can tailor the frequency of sessions to suit you.

What happens in your consultations? Before your first session, I’ll send you a short questionnaire so we can spend our time focusing on solutions rather than background details. During each consultation, we will: - Clarify your goals and what you’d like to achieve - Review your current habits to identify what’s helping and what may be holding you back - Calculate your personalised calorie and macronutrient needs, tailored to your preferences - Create a realistic weekly eating plan that fits your lifestyle and food choices - Identify the key skills and habits needed for long‑term success - Agree on one practical focus for the week to keep progress achievable and consistent

What happens after my first consultation? You’ll receive your personalised recipe book and Food Journal, which includes your nutrition targets, weekly plans, progress tracking, shopping lists, menu ideas, and troubleshooting tips. Between sessions, I’ll check in at a frequency that suits you. At your follow-up session, we’ll review your week, celebrate wins, address challenges, and agree on your next steps—helping you progress confidently and sustainably.

How do I book my first consultation? If you’d like to book a one-off consultation, a package of sessions, or enquire about workplace services, book via the Book Consult tab or send me a message via the Contact tab with your name and service you’re interested in. Alternatively, start by booking a free 15-minute discovery call via the Book Consult tab. This gives us a chance to discuss your goals, and see whether we’re a good fit—while ensuring your needs fall within my scope of practice.
